There are a few ways to speed up the computer, and many of these can be done by you. There really is no need to take this into a computer technician and have them do what they do to speed up your PC. The things I will show you below are the exact things these guys will be doing to your computer. Plus, you will still get to keep your computer in your hands. Nothing like some strangers going through your computer with you not there. Think they aren't snooping? Think again.
The reasons the computer gets slow is just by the daily use of it. Especially in today's world of everything being online, you are constantly having an increase load in the amount of stuff being stored on the computer. Now, I can get into technical terms, but why? I want you to understand to the point that you realize what needs to be done and how to do it.
Online usage of the computer is a daily occurrence. So, what this means is everyday you are being loaded with images and cookies. The images are loaded into temporary directories and folders on your computer. The reason the computer does this is so the next time you visit the site, it can load the page quicker and faster, as the images are already downloaded on your computer. Sounds like a good idea at first, but think about the amount of images, pictures, files, and videos being stored on your hard drive. This alone is enough to slow down a computer.
Software installations and uninstalls also cause a bunch of problems. There is a section in your computer called a registry. It is this registry section that contains all of the information on how to operate the programs on your computer. If you uninstall software that also uses another systems registry file, this file will then be gone. So, the next time you go to launch the software, it will not work, and the computer will likely freeze. Oh yeah, computer freezes are cause by registry errors and only registry errors.
You computer needs an overall maintenance program.
